Jewels Dodson is an arts and culture writer and audio producer. She began her career at urban culture magazines before stints at Ralph Lauren and Diane von Furstenberg. She later became a content producer for The BHOLDR, producing video featurettes on contemporary artists, and was a radio producer at New York City's public radio station, WNYC.

Currently, she writes about contemporary art and the cultural trends and behaviors shaping how we live. Her work appears in JUXTAPOZ, ARTnews, Artsy, Gagosian Quarterly, The CUT, and The New York Times. She lives and works in her beloved New York City, fueled by art, ambition, and an alarming amount of matcha.
